Cara's Half Marathon - Sun 29th September

Our volunteer Cara has pledged to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for Imara. Please help us show our appreciation by sponsoring generously!

Here's what Cara has to say:

Hello folks,

I have been inspired by a number of friends to do a half marathon for charity!

I am helping to raise money by running the Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon for a charity that I work closely with - Imara. Imara provide support after trauma by providing a specialist service that supports children, young people and their families after a disclosure or discovery of child sexual abuse within Nottinghamshire.

Please help me raise money for an important cause - they rely entirely on funding and donations to run their services and any donation will mean a lot.

LAST CHANCE TO DONATE

Welsh 3000s Hiking Challenge - 13th-14th July

Our incredible volunteer Scott and his team of hikers (including our own therapist Verity and premises manager Michael) all bravely took on the Welsh 3000s challenge recently to raise money for Imara. The weather was unfortunately not on their side, and the team were forced to end the hike early for their safety.

They went up again the next day, joined by our own senior therapist Christy, to salvage what they could of the challenge with better weather but were too far behind to complete all 30 miles and 15 peaks.

There is still time to donate any last sponsorship money to the team, which we hope you agree they definitely still deserve! Here's the link: https://localgiving.org/fundraising/the-welsh-3000s-challenge/
