Job Title: Creative Arts Therapist
Salary: £24,000 per annum pro rata
Hours: 37.5 hours full time, permanent
Holidays: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays per annum

Location: the post will be based at Imara premises in Nottingham City Centre and post holder will be required to travel to support clients at various community venues e.g. schools, home address

Are you passionate about empowering victims / survivors to recover from the impact of child sexual abuse? Could you be the right person to join our friendly committed team? We are a small, innovative charity working in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire to support children, teenagers and safe family members who have been affected by child sexual abuse and following successful bids for grant funding and tendering opportunities, we have a vacancy for a full time creative arts therapist.
About the role:
You will be a qualified and experience creative arts therapist, who will provide therapeutic assessment, psycho-education, early intervention strategies and ongoing therapy to children and young people who have disclosed child sexual abuse and are experiencing acute stress symptoms following this trauma. You will also provide therapy to vulnerable adults (safe parent’s and carers) and to siblings. You will work at their premises in Nottingham and also provide outreach work to children, teenagers and vulnerable adults in community settings e.g. schools; children’s centres.
– Qualified to degree level or equivalent
– A recognised professional qualification in creative arts therapies at a minimum of diploma level with accredited membership of either, HCPC, BACP or UKCP (or working towards this)
– Safeguarding training and experience
– Own transport and hold valid driving licence and business insurance
